Day of Innovation!
What a FUN day!
We stayed VERY busy yesterday!
We investigated animal adaptation. We pretended we were birds and used different types of beaks to experiment with gathering food. We realized that some birds have special beak adaptations that allow them to gather certain types of food more easily.
We also used 100 legos to build, put together a 100 piece puzzle, and morphed animals on SwitchZoo!
Take a look at some of our learning!

Don't be a CyberBully!
We are learning so much about becoming digital citizens! We are working together to read books, watch videos, and participate in activities. We understand that we leave digital footprints. We are reading books about bullying and how it can really affect others. Common Sense Media has great videos we can watch and discuss with others as well!
It is important for families to have these discussions as well. Make sure you read the weekly newsletter and check out Common Sense Media resources.

This week we are beginning our research projects! We are learning all about using books and online materials. As we get started, we are also learning about the responsibilities that come with using technology. We are learning to become positive digital citizens. Check out this website for ways you can enforce these ideas at home as well. Common Sense Media is such an awesome resource for families and classrooms. There are so many great ideas for home and parents as well!
